Cris Kooyer
Cris Kooyer is the Youth and Education Program Officer at Grand Rapids Community Foundation. In this capacity, she oversees the Meijer Good Schools for Grand Rapids Program, the Good Classrooms (previously called Excellence in Education) program and provides support and guidance to the Community Foundation’s Youth Grant Committee. She serves on the Steering Committee for the Youth Development Network and recently completed a term on the Michigan Community Foundation’s Youth Project Board.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 1999, Cris served as Executive Director of the Garfield Park Neighborhoods Association. Cris earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social ScienceSecondary Education at Michigan State University.
