Gina Bovee
Gina Bovee, a Grand Rapids native, joined the Grand Rapids Community Foundation in April 2005. As Development Director, she helps individuals, families and businesses achieve their charitable goals and maximize their giving through thoughtful planning. Gina can help you establish a fund that will support the community and causes you care about most, now and forever.
With fourteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Gina has specialized in fund raising, communications and organizational development. Prior to joining the Grand Rapids Community Foundation, she worked for the Daniels Fund in Denver, Colorado, as Director of Communications. She served as Vice President of Development and Communications for Parent Pathways, also in Denver, and worked as Communications Coordinator for the Fremont Area Community Foundation in Fremont, Michigan. Prior to moving home to Michigan, she enjoyed two years living in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Todd, caring for their son, Shiloh.
Gina received an Associate of Arts Degree from Grand Rapids Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. She serves on the Board of the West Michigan Planned Giving Group and the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding Board of Directors. Gina enjoys exploring the arts and cultural offerings of Grand Rapids, reading and outdoor fun with her family.
