
Lynne Black
Lynne Black is the Vice President of Finance and Administration for the Grand Rapids Community Foundation and has been on staff since 1988. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Grand Valley State University.
In this role, Lynne oversees all of the finances for the Foundation from investments, to accounts payable, to audit. The Foundation’s assets are comprised of over 500 funds invested with 28 managers. Lynne manages the accounting of these funds. In addition to her financial responsibilities, Lynne also plays a key role on the Investment Review, Human Resources and Audit Committees. Lynne has also helped design sessions for the Council on Foundation and Council of Michigan Foundation conferences. She has been a member of the Council on Foundation’s Investment Performance Survey Report committee and was on the Executive Committee of the national Fiscal and Administrative Officers Group, a group of fiscal officers for community foundations.
