Social Venture Investors Fund
Social Venture Investors is a group of local philanthropists that invest in innovative programs to improve the quality of life in Grand Rapids. Each year they pool their charitable dollars, make outcome-oriented grants, and track the results of their investments. For more information, click here.
Excellence in Education
Teacher Minigrant and Student Innovative Minigrant applications are available each year in August and are due October 15. Awards are announced in early December. For teacher minigrants, click here. For student minigrants, click here.
Access Camps
The purpose of Access Camps is to increase the ability for "underserved" Kent County children to access a West Michigan overnight camping experience. For more information, click here.
NonProfit Technical Assistance Fund
The Nonprofit Technical Assistance Fund (NPTA Fund) is a collaborative program designed to address the need for organizational and technical assistance among nonprofits in Kent County. Grants are made quarterly. Application available here.
Youth Grants
Youth grant applications for Grand Rapids and the Affiliate Funds are available each year in December and are due in February. Further information is available here.
Healthy Youth Healthy Seniors Fund
The Grand Rapids Community Foundation is interested in investing in projects that work to eliminate the disparities related to tobacco use and its effects on different population groups. Grants will be awarded to programs that prevent tobacco product initiation and/or reduce exposure to environmental tobacco smoke. Applications are requested periodically as funds become available.

Ionia County Community Foundation
The deadline for 2007 has passed. Applications will be requested in December of 2008.
The Healthy Youth Healthy Seniors Fund for Ionia will request proposals periodically as funds are available.
Lowell Area Community Fund
The application deadlines are: the third Friday in April, August, and December.
