Thanks to many generous people in the Grand Rapids area who have made donations to the Community Foundation's endowment since 1922, we make grants that help make our community grow stronger, be more sustainable and continue to be vibrant.

Six times a year, the Foundation's resource committee and the Board of Trustees approve grants submitted by nonprofits via our pre-application and grants application process.

The Grand Rapids Community Foundation makes grants to nonprofits in Kent County. We fund organizations and projects that are focused on policy and advocacy, systems reform, innovative models, proven programs and organizational/leadership development.
