Great Reasons to Keep Giving in 2012

The 2011 tax year was the last year you will be able to take  advantage of the Michigan Tax Credit for Community Foundations. The credit is no longer available after December 31, 2011. However, there are still many reasons to continue to support Grand Rapids Community Foundation and we think these are the best.

We’re all about Grand Rapids. We make grants that support causes across the community.

90 years of community philanthropy. 2012 is our 90th year and our leadership and grantmaking has stood the test of time.

Expert grantmaking happens here. We have an grantmaking staff that are experts in the field, they’re in-touch and involved in community issues.

We offer many ways to give. From a Charitable Remainder Trust to a gift of stock or real estate or simply giving cash—we can handle it.

We’re all in this together. Big name donors and big-hearted donors come together to make big change when pooled gifts are used to make grants. Be part of our $10 million a year grantmaking effort with a gift of any size.

Leave a legacy. Support a cause you care about after you leave this life. We promise to use your bequest to your specifications.

Pick your passion. Our field of interest funds help the causes you are most aligned with.
