Goal: Support safe, attractive and self-sufficient communities of residences and businesses.

Here's what successful grant recipients will need to use for measuring their programs:

Commercial rehabs – percent of buildings that underwent renovations of over $5,000.
Owner-occupied housing units – percent of housing units that are owner-occupied.
Occupied housing units – percent of vacant housing units subtracted from 100 percent.
Population without housing burden – percent of residents whose housing costs account for less than 30 percent of their annual income.
Residential rehabs – number of residential buildings per 1,000 that underwent renovations of over $5,000.
