Overview
The AmeriCorps Member will create, maintain and strengthen mentor/mentee relationships within the Youth Enrichment Scholarship program. In addition, this member will increase the capacity of the YES program to serve older youth involved in the program. The Member will also provide staff support to two collaborative bodies that support local mentoring organizations and local college access efforts: Kent County Mentoring Collaborative and the Kent County College Access Network.
Service Commitment
This is a full time service position (Minimum of 1700 service hours over 12 months; 37.5 hours/week) beginning October 18, 2010.

Education and Skills
- Two years of undergraduate studies minimum
- Bachelors in Social Work or other Human Services fields preferred
- Fluency in Spanish, written and spoken, a plus
