Foundation Brings Home Silver and Gold at PRoof Awards

Grand Rapids Community Foundation won three silver and two gold awards at the West Michigan Public Relations Society of America’s PRoof awards on April 28, 2011. The Community Foundation also celebrated the award for PR Practitioner of the Year to Vice President of PR & Marketing Roberta F. King for her work at the Foundation and for the launch of The Rapidian. Awards went to the following pieces:
Silver award for Website www.grfoundation.org. Web Management: Aron Duby, Grand Rapids Community Media Center, Amanda St. Pierre, PR & Marketing Specialist and Amy Price, Administrative Assistant
Silver award for Newsletter Current. Design: Jim Falk, Falk Design; illustration: Yolanda Gonzalez; photography: Terry Johnson and Mary Taber; copywriting and project management: Roberta F. King and Amanda St. Pierre, Community Foundation PR & Marketing staff members.
