Scholarships
Each year the Grand Rapids Community Foundation awards approximately $500,000 in scholarships to Kent County residents. Some select scholarships are also available for residents of other counties. If you are a U.S. citizen or certified permanent resident residing in Kent or, in some cases, other counties and plan to attend an educational institution in the 2008-2009 academic year you may want to review the list of scholarships available from the Foundation. Following is the list of scholarships that will be offered as well as a brief description, eligibility requirements, and information on how to apply online for each scholarship beginning January 1, 2008.
Applications are available January 1 and due April 1 each year. Decisions will be announced after June 20.
