What Carla does:

Carla assists the Education Program Officer with scholarship administration and provides support to the Youth Enrichment Scholarship (YES) Program and Challenge Scholars. 

What she did before:

Carla was previously a research assistant in the Community Research Institute at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy.  She has also worked for Grand Valley State University’s Financial Aid Office, where she was introduced to scholarship work. Carla received her bachelor’s degree in international relations from Grand Valley State University.

When Carla isn't working:

Carla enjoys spending time with her family, going to local breweries, and playing with her pets Dino (corgi) and Calabaza (cat).
