What Ruth does:

Ruth is responsible for administering awards for over 80 scholarship funds and supporting local efforts targeting college access for all students. She is the program director for the Youth Enrichment Scholarship (YES) Program. This is a financial aid commitment program that provides scholarships to students beginning in 4th grade for summer activities and culminates in a scholarship for college or vocational training, upon successful completion of high school.

What she did before:

Ruth worked in various general and special education administrative positions in both the public and private school sector. She is a member of the National Scholarship Providers Association, is actively involved with the the To College Through College Initiative.

When Ruth’s not working:

She enjoys singing in choir and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
