What Shaun does:

Shaun explores ways for donor partners to establish donor advised, unrestricted, field of interest, scholarship and nonprofit/designated funds at the Community Foundation through lifetime or planned gifts. He works with professional advisor partners to help their clients achieve their charitable giving goals. Shaun holds the CAP® (Chartered Advisor In Philanthropy) designation from the American College of Financial Services.

What he did before:

Shaun spent eight years in the University Development office at Grand Valley State University. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and a Master's of Public Administration degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, both from Grand Valley State University.

When Shaun’s not working:

Shaun is the president of the Rotary Club of Grand Rapids. He also serves on the board of the Western Michigan Estate Planning Council. When he isn’t volunteering in the community, you will find Shaun spending time with his family, playing golf or softball or watching a Detroit Tigers game.
