Five PR Awards for Foundation

 

Grand Rapids Community Foundation won four gold awards and Best in Show at the West Michigan chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s PRoof Awards on April 29, 2010. The Community Foundation won the following awards:

Public Service Campaign:The Launch of The Rapidian. The project was also awarded the PRemier Award for best in show. The Rapidian is a project of the Grand Rapids Community Media Center and is funded by the Grand Rapids Community Foundation and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.  The citizen journalism website www.therapidian.org was created by the Community Media Center and the grassroots launch campaign was created by the Community Foundation.
