What Danielle Does:

Danielle directs the finance and accounting areas of the Community Foundation. She also serves as a staff member of the Investment Review and Audit Committees and is a member of the DEI Committee at the Community Foundation. Danielle has been a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan since 2002.

Danielle serves on the Community Foundation’s senior leadership team, leading financial strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis and managing accounting procedures, investments, human resources, information systems, and facilities.

What she did before:

Danielle began her career in public accounting at Plante Moran. During that time, she worked primarily with nonprofit and healthcare organizations. After leaving public accounting, Danielle has held accounting and finance leadership positions with various organizations. Danielle earned her Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

When Danielle isn’t working:

Danielle enjoys going to movies with her two children, traveling with her husband and spending time with her extended family. Danielle is committed to serving the community as the First Vice President of the Grand Rapids chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and is the Secretary of the Board of Trustees and a member of the Finance Committee for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.
