What Jenine does:

Jenine’s role as Development Officer includes building relationships with our annual donors, engaging the community to become new donors as well as stewarding and growing our Metz Legacy Society members. Jenine enjoys working with the 100 New Philanthropists program and also co-leads our Catalyzing Community Giving grant and Latinx Advisory Committee.

What she did before:

Jenine previously worked with Family Futures as Chief Advancement Officer. She also worked with the Grand Rapids Public Schools as a Youth Advocate, and started her career in grassroots fundraising. Jenine received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Humboldt State University as well as a Master of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University. She holds the CAP®(Chartered Advisor In Philanthropy) designation from the American College of Financial Services which she earned in 2021.

When Jenine is not working:

She enjoys spending time with her family, planning meals from Cooking Light, watching movies on Netflix, and taking long walks. Jenine volunteers on the Event Planning committee for Inforum, and serves as Vice Chair for the Create Great Leaders Council at the Grand Rapids Chamber.
