What Jessica does:

Jessica leads strategic fundraising efforts, cultivates donor relationships and advances the Community Foundation through philanthropic partnerships.

What she did before:

Jessica began her career as a student fundraiser for her alma mater and is a 25-year fundraising executive veteran. She most recently served as the assistant vice president for university advancement at Western Michigan University. There she led a team of 22 fundraisers as well as the corporate, foundation and prospect management teams. Prior to her work at Western Michigan University, Jessica spent 12 years as the top fundraising executive for a health care facility. Jessica honed her fundraising experience as a consultant where she worked with universities, corporations and hospitals to execute campaigns. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta and her Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University.

When Jessica isn’t working:

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, reading fiction and poetry, watching as many WNBA games as possible, collecting contemporary photography, and spoiling her very high-maintenance border collie, Felix.
