Selection Process for Community Foundation Scholarships

Grand Rapids Community Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships annually primarily to Kent County students bound for or in college, or those pursuing a technical career. Academic achievement is integral to a life of opportunity and we encourage you to review our scholarship information. 

Completing our online application enters you in the selection process for over 60 scholarships, and is available between January 1 and April 1. This is a new online application this year.  If you experience any problems, please contact us at  rbishop@grfoundation or 616.284.4903.

The deadline for applications is 5 PM on April 1. General Scholarship application.

Other specific scholarships (including the Meijer Scholarship) that require a separate application.

June 20 Notification letters sent

Privacy Policy 

Grand Rapids Community Foundation collects and uses personal information such as name, address, phone number, last four digits of social security number, and email address when a grant applicant voluntarily provides it to us. The information is used to generate reports for advisory committees as part of the selection process. In addition, the Community Foundation keeps applicant information on file for auditing purposes and ensures that documents are properly disposed of.  The Community Foundation does NOT sell, trade, or share personal or financial information with any other organization.
