What Danielle does:

Danielle’s role as development officer includes deepening relationships with donor partners, engaging the community to invite new partnerships and stewarding our Metz Legacy Society members. She plays a significant role in developing and implementing the Community Foundation’s fundraising strategies and tools.

What she did before:

Danielle started her career at Michigan State University as a student fundraiser before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in English. She attended graduate school at DePaul University and received a master’s degree in public service with a concentration in nonprofit administration. Her most recent role was as the development director for Baxter Community Center, where she spent five years.

When Danielle isn’t working:

She is chasing her two active kids around, trying to find time for date night with her husband, singing along to Broadway soundtracks (badly) in the car, seeing the latest movies in theaters because microwave popcorn just isn’t the same, and exploring northern Michigan in the summer, especially Mackinac Island.
