What Jonse does:

Jonse leads the philanthropic services team and serves as the key relationship manager for donor advisors, successor advisors and fund representatives. She serves as a “bridge” between the development and program departments for the purpose of sharing community insights and leadership opportunities with donors. She is responsible for identifying gift opportunities and facilitating new gifts (including estate gifts) to established funds. Jonse is the Co-Champion of Diversity and Inclusion at the Community Foundation. She holds the CAP® (Chartered Advisor In Philanthropy) designation from the American College of Financial Services which she earned in 2015.

What she did before:

Jonse previously worked for Wedgwood Christian Services as Vice President for Development. She was also Director of Development and Marketing at United Methodist Community House Inc. Jonse received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University.

When Jonse’s not working:

She enjoys traveling, shopping, singing, serving her church and community, being a voice for those who have been silenced, meeting new people and spending time with her family. She also serves as the Chair of the City of Kentwood Planning Commission.
