What Stan does:

Stan is a member of the senior leadership team responsible for the finance, human resource and information technology functions of Grand Rapids Community Foundation. In addition, he partners with the Investment Review Committee to manage the funds that donors have entrusted to Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Stan is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) a designation that he earned in 1986.

What he did before:

Stan comes to the Community Foundation from Ranir Corporation where he was the senior director of finance and IT. He also was employed at Amway as the director and CFO of contract manufacturing and worked for nearly a decade in finance at Gerber Products Company. Stan also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a licensed CPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College and his Master's of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

When Stan’s not working:

Stan serves on the Board and is Treasurer for the Gerber Foundation and is a Trustee on the Elim Christian Services Foundation. He also serves on the Investment Committee for Blandford Nature Center.
