Paul Keep Named Chair of Grand Rapids Community Foundation Board of Trustees

Paul Keep was recently elected Chair of Grand Rapids Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees. The incoming Vice Chair is Laurie Finney Beard.

Keep has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2010 and served as Vice Chair in 2014. He also chaired the Community Action Committee, Grand Rapids Community Foundation’s community grant evaluation committee, since 2011.

"It is a privilege for me to play this role in maintaining and building upon the strong link between our community and our community foundation," Keep said. "The team at the foundation does a great job of connecting community needs with community generosity. I'm proud to be able to work closely with such a fine staff and also the committed group of volunteers on our board of trustees."

Keep is the former editor of The Grand Rapids Press and most recently held the position of Executive Editor/Director of Print for MLive Media Group. With more than 31.5 years in Michigan newspapers, he served as the top newsroom editor at four of the eight Booth Newspapers.
